So I told myself………………………………………………………………………….

if I go to work today……………………………………………………………………

I can go straight to bed when the day is over.

So I got dressed and drove to work. Here I am working. It’s only 10:26am. I’ve still got 6 agonising hours to get through before I can go home. And go to bed. I don’t know how I’m going to accomplish this.

I changed my doc appointment from April to this Monday. And in the meantime, I’ll do my regular daydreaming and suicide plotting. And cry. That shit just never quits.

But hey, I’m losing weight.

  1. Our brains just refuse to shut up sometimes. It’s a beautiful world around us, but our minds frequently won’t let us enjoy it. I wish I had some wise words to help you get through your day, but all I can think of is that iconic poster of a cat that says “Hang in There.” Not very helpful.

Giving yourself permission to go to bed when you get home is a healthy way to deal with what you’re going through. Wish you the best.
